The Beechcraft Baron is a fast, twin-engine private and business aircraft with a G1000 glass cockpit. It offers space for five passengers in addition to the pilot. Introduced in 1961, the model is technically derived from the Beechcraft Bonanza, but is still currently sold by Textron Aviation for around 1.2 million US dollars. There are two variants: The Baron 55 (short fuselage) and the Baron 58 (long fuselage). Only the Baron 58 is currently being built. The current Baron G58 version is equipped ex works with the Garmin G1000 glass cockpit.
