Beechcraft Bonanza G36, G1000 Cockpit

The Beechcraft Bonanza has been produced by the Beech Aircraft Corporation for more than 70 years as a touring and business aircraft with a G1000 cockpit. This makes it the aircraft with the longest series production. With more than 17,000 examples, it is also one of the most frequently built aircraft. As Beech's third design after the pre-war Model 17 and Model 18, the Model 35 Bonanza, introduced in 1945, was a commercial success right from the start. Even before exact performance data on the new model was known, there were 500 pre-orders. In a period of eight months, Beechcraft was able to produce almost 1000 units in 1947. The current and only version that Beechcraft still produces is the G36 on the runway. In addition to numerous other modifications, it has now been fitted with a Garmin G1000 glass cockpit, which combines the entire avionics with all primary and secondary flight and engine instruments, as well as navigation and communication, in one integrated system and displays them on two redundant screens in the cockpit.
